No puppies were harmed in the making of this blog. More than a few cats, however, have been stalked by a camera-wielding mage intent on catching them being cute.
Oh, My thoughts are with you :(

Sniff, so sad. My sympathies to you and I am sure Moufie is in cat heaven chasing all those mice she likes and eating all the food she wants.

hugs and more hugs, honey. It isn't easy but what a wonderful life Moufie lived with you. I'm sure he's looking down on you with love and gratitude.

My condolences--like boo said, hopefully Moufie is in kitty heaven, where hairballs don't exist, and there's always a nice sunny spot to nap.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts. Moufie's mom was a stray we adopted and he was born on my birthday so he has this extra-special spot in my heart.
When we had the cancer removed the first time we knew it was likely to be only a matter of a short time and we made ourselves a deal that we'd bring him home and let him have a good summer--which he did. In fact, he had an awesome summer, hunting until he couldn't eat another critter (which I know because that was when he'd leavethem for me) and sleeping in the shade of his favorite rhodedendron--which started blooming about two weeks ago, right about when he started feeling really bad. He was probably the happiest, and snuggliest, he'd ever been.
I like the idea of a place with no hairballs and lots of napping spaces--he would too.
Thanks again everyone for the group hug. I feel better. :-)
